Microsoft Blue Track Mouse

Microsoft sent a teaser “Say Goodbye to Laser” on 9.9.08, we said that if Microsoft follows its regular pattern, we will know about the event or technology that Microsoft will reveal at the event before September 9th. Well our statement came true with in hours. Amazon.de has posted MS Explorer Mini Mouse with “BlueTrack” technology for notebooks. BlueTrack is the revolutionary new technology that Microsoft will reveal at the event on September 9th.

The technology uses a new optical sensor Blue Specular, born from a combination of Blue LED and lens with wide angle. BlueTrack technology allows the mouse to function perfectly on surfaces such as granite, wood and carpet, on which neither optical nor laser mice worked. The radius of the tracker on mouse equipped with BlueTrack technology is four times larger that previous technologies allowing it to track movement better on any surface. An Italian website is showing the price of the new mouse as Euro 90 ($132). news Via

Suvil's I-T Click Click mouse - very strange computer mouse

Suvil's I-T Click Click mouse will certainly not become the best thing since sliced bread. It's simply too small.
The left click is a fingernail button and the "normal" button is actually the right click. Though, you get used to it after a while, left-handed users will have a hard time to get to that point.
€12 is the price for this little devil. Currently it is only available in Germany and Spain and should be available worldwide soon, but I highly doubt it will be successful.

At first glance, this I-T Click Click mini-mouse from Suvil looked to be the solution to all the world's ills. Not so much. In fact, this thing is awkward enough to hold and cheaply enough built that it'd probably be hard pressed to solve world hunger. The premise is simple enough: you rotate the mouse slightly for ergonomics, left click with the "fingernail" button and use the button at your thumb for right click. It all falls apart with use, however, with the scroll wheel gumming things up, and the fact that the "right click" is in use by your leftmost digit not helping anything. Left-handed users don't stand a chance.

Mouse Powered by Notebook Heat - DORmino eco mouse

Overheating laptops will do more than just burning your legs if this amazing mouse makes it to the stores. No, I am not joking but am saying this because the designers of this mouse believes that they can make use of the heat generated in your notebook computer to power this trendy looking mouse dubbed the DORmino.

Actually the whole mechanism does not rest in the mouse but in the giant mousepad that extends from under the notebook to the right hand side where the mouse rests. The mouse pad absorbs all the heat that is expelled from the notebook to power the mouse. This amazing concept comes from Cheong Yian Ling and his team from Singapore, who have submitted the design to the Greener Gadgets Design Competition 2008. If this amazing concept ever becomes a reality it will surely give a different meaning to your burnt legs! via

New Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and 7000 from Microsoft

Microsoft just announced a new pair of Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and 7000. The new 6000 wireless mouse offers 2.4 GHz wireless technology with up to 30-foot range. The Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 sacrifices a bit of portability for a rechargeable batteries -- with a horizontal charging dock to host the mouse when times are rough and juice is scarce.

Both mice include Microsoft's HD Lasers and a few Vista-friendly buttons. You can pick them up in March for $50 and $70, respectively.
