CuteCircuit GalaxyDress at MSI
The Galaxy Dress is the center piece of the "Fast Forward: Inventing the Future" exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The museum is celebrating its 75 years and has commissioned the GalaxyDress for their permanent collection.
The GalaxyDress provides a spectacular and mesmerizing effect being embroidered with 24000 color LEDs, it is the largest wearable display in the world. Constructed using the smallest full-color LEDs that are flat like paper and measuring only 2 by 2 mm.

YikeBike: Foldable, Carbon Fiber Bike
This weird thing is a 1.2kW electric motor powered, carbon fiber foldable bike called the YikeBike. It’s real, unfolds in 15 seconds, and aims to solve the eternal problem of urban mobility, and probably become Woz’s favorite new toy.Folded, the YikeBike only takes 6 x 23.6 x 23.6 inches (150 x 600 x 600 millimeters) and weighs 22 pounds (10 kilograms), so it can be easily carried around. And while its pneumatic wheels may follow an old high wheeler configuration, according to the manufacturer, this thing is designed to be easy to maneuver, and it’s equipped with electronic brakes with built-in anti-skid system. Its styling queues are decidedly futuristic penny-farthing, with the large front wheel, tiny rear, and little mustache handlebar, but that front wheel is driven by an electric motor giving a range of 9km and a top speed of 20km/h. No word on how long a full charge takes, but 80 percent requires only 20 minutes. It looks like fun (see for yourself after the break), and is due to start shipping by the middle of next year, but at a cost of €3,900 (over $5,500) it’s going to be something of a tall sale for a short ride.

flat bulb' is designed by korean designer joonhuyn kim. unlike ordinary bulbs its volume is 1/3 smaller, reducing the cost of packaging and transport. its slim shape allows bulbs to be easily stacked and prevents breakage as it does not roll. his work was on display as part of 100% design tokyo.

Bath Safeguard - a beautiful concept for the bath
The Bath Safeguard product designed by Taiwan based Kai Yi Chen is surely an interesting concept. This product measures the bath water temperature through smart color coding thus negating the need of use of hand. While a blue color signifies cold water, the green says its lukewarm while red indicates a hot water.
So, isn’t that smart? With the product recognizing a temperature range of 81 to 113 degree Fahrenheit and an option of temperature display in both Fahrenheit and Degree Celsius, it is a smart device that can be used for daily usage. You don’t need to use your hand, just watch the light of the bath safeguard.
